Privacy Policy

Introduction

This document outlines the privacy protection policy of Advocate Yossi Baruch - legal services (Hereby – Data Controller). It applies to all clients, suppliers, employees and website users (Hereby – Data subject) for the purpose of contacting and receiving information.

The Firm acts as Data Controller and/or Data Processor as applicable.

 

Types of Data collected

  • Information provided voluntarily and with prior informed consent (contact details, legal documents, tax documents, etc.)

  • Automatically collected data (IP address, cookies, browser data)

  • Third‑party data (authorities, professionals, public registries)

 

Purposes of Processing

  • Provision of legal services.

  • Client communication.

  • Billing and invoicing.

  • Regulatory and tax compliance.

  • Service improvement.

  • Professional marketing with consent.

 

Legal Basis (GDPR)

Processing relies on contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests or prior informed consent, as applicable and in accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and Regulations or the GDPR.

 

Data Sharing

Data may be shared with authorities, cloud providers, advisors, or client‑authorized entities - Personal information will not be sold or given to a third party, and personal information will not be transferred abroad without express written permission from the data subject or a judicial order.

 

Cloud Use

The firm uses Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for file storage, communication, and document sharing. Information may be stored outside of Israel in countries recognized by the EDPB as having adequate data security and privacy protection laws and regulations or be subject to SCCs in accordance with the GDPR.

 

Data Retention

  • The Company is obliged to take security measures in accordance with the provisions of any law and the accepted practice for preserving files, documents and any other material of the data subject, to which the holder is exposed during the engagement - however, it is clarified that the holder cannot completely prevent data breaches or information leaks.

  • Data is retained based on statutory limitations, regulatory requirements, and legal defense needs, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

 

Web site Information Security

  • Personal data on the data subject may be collected for the purpose of operating the application and matching services - providing information is voluntary, but failure to provide it may prevent or limit use of the service.

  • The Data subject hereby confirms that he is aware that information about him may be retained, processed or stored by the Company in accordance with its privacy policy.

  • Details about a user may be transferred to third parties in cases required by law or for the purpose of operating the service.

Right of access, rectification, deletion (for a foreign citizen), portability, objection, restriction and withdrawal of consent
